The factory "leveled" truck with a wheels and black front make it look bad. I think a regular LT or LTZ (premier) model with more color matched parts will look better.
The more rounded-ness is likely because they must obtain better mpg, it even has like a factory roof spoiler and tailgate lip for aero.
My biggest questions are the engines, very curious as to what they will be coming out with.

Chevrolet unexpectedly revealed the all-new "from the ground up" 2019 Silverado at an owner's event in Texas yesterday. Lucky GM fans got to see the truck, but details are being held back in anticipation of the mid-January Detroit Auto Show. Chevy says this new truck is all about what owners want.
