Honestly, I'd just try and find the tube itself to save you money.

I bought just the tube for $125 many months ago.

I started out with the tube and square washable filter for the factory box. I later bought the Air Raid box and think it was much better. That filter is huge and it seemed to flow much better. I emailed the company and they sold me just the filter housing instead of having to buy the whole kit. Get the whole system from the start.

Really ??

I bought a tube. Hopefully it better than stock .

what did the filter house cost you ? Maybe later on down the rd I might do the same.

The tube is better than stock, just not as good as the whole kit. I dont remember what i paid for the box, but it wasnt cheap.

Mod the stock box and it will be able to flow the same amount of air with ease.

Plus, the motor has to need more air for it to even make a difference. Just because it can flow more doesnt mean anything if the engine doesn't need it.

i was looking on speed-engineering site tonight and they have a decent intake for like 130 i believe

He is correct. You have to look at the entire air flow system, including the exhaust side. LT's make a pretty big difference. Evaluate the entire air flow system. Larger throttle bodys help a little off the line, but not a huge increase. I ported the stock TB on my 2014 6.2, but it is not enough. They are too small in general to get much. BBK is designing aftermarket TB's right now. Should be on the market soon.

I got just the MIT on my 15' 6.2. I have no complaints, I plan to mod my stock box soon.

Rijruni - I read you have Gibson shorties. Did you notice a gain ?
