Default Any warranty experts in the house?

016 Running boards both sides chrome peeling,anyone know if GM will warranty them?


Chrome sucks

as long as your under 36k they should. If not call GMC customer service 1 (888) 988-7267 open a case and they call your closed dealer for you. If you know how to raise hell your truck is warranty until 200k

yeah they should as long as there is no evidence of impact.

Looks like impact damage honestly.... they generally will not cover that ever but who knows. Maybe its a known issue.

several spots like that both sides,only thing it would have rubbed agains is snow

UPDATE:
dealer inspected the boards and could peal back the chrome and see if was flaking due to poor prep during chroming ,ordered them up had them put on Monday and did an airbag programming update.Tech guy liked the mods and wanted to go for a spin,he was grinning
