Default 2018 Color Options - Terrible

I went to my dealership to discuss ordering my 2018 before GM stops taking new orders. I currently have a Tungsten Metallic - love it. I've had that color variation on several trucks Chevrolet and GMC over the years.

I see it is no longer offered, so I go to see the replacement outside. There's a lot of blue mixed into the "Graphite something or another" color. Can't stand it. Fire engine red is out. White and silver seems a bit boring. The blue is 'ok' but 'eh. Havana Brown - nope.

It came down to black or the Cajun Red Metallic. I don't mind the red - I think it would look nice with black rims and misc pieces. However, I've always owned dark colored trucks and have enjoyed the metallic over the years. Not sure if I'd like a red truck.

Not a big chrome person, I prefer the color matched bumpers, etc.

The Midnight Editions look nice but everyone seems to have one.

Any suggestions or have you seen a truck and thought - perfect combo? I was caught off guard on how much I do not like the color options on the 1500's.

With all of the nasty salt and brine in the Ohio winters, I try to avoid chrome. My GMC wheels didn't last 1 winter before showing damage.

I have never been a Red guy. Always loved Blues, and Grays on vehicles. When they offered 14k off the sticker I was able to live with it lol. Honestly I actually really like it with the wheels I have now. I will never own a Black vehicle ever again. With our winters it is horrible to maintain.

I did build the Cajun Red with black rims. It wasn't bad...but the GM rims are 22", so a bit much for me.

I'm fortunate enough that I am ordering my vehicle from GM and my dealer will hold the truck until the big rebates kick in to move the 2018's off the lot.

I like the GMC's a lot and that color, but I cannot stand the gap on the center of the grill, at the top, where the grill and hood meet. It looks so bad in my opinion.

I know its bit off topic, but ToNasty, where did you get that LTX emblem on the grille? It's a nice, subtle touch.
