converter = Fun truck.
LSX427 twin turbo, meth, build 6l80, gears, slicks on all 4 corners, huge converter = drag truck. lol
I did headers, CAI, Tune and full catback and it was a different truck all together.
Headers - ~$1500
Tune - $550
CAI - ~$260
Catback - ~$800
If your thinking VVT cam there are pleanty of guys who can tune it for you. For example Justin @ Blackbear (tuner I used thus far) or Goeff at EPS (who also specializes in VVT cams and custom grinds). Both these guys tune with EFILive if im not mistaken, not to mention im sure there is several HPTuner guys who could build you a tune with some data logging to get it dialed in.
If I were to start over and want to stick with N/A or a S/C setup I would go ARH LTs, cam, stall, tune, exhaust (mainly for sound and a bit of flow) with possible S/C later. Otherwise i would start over and go with a KB racing or trick top mount setup, exhaust, tune, stall.

i dont know much about converters but isnt the higher stall so you can get a better lanch. sit at the line foot on the break and rev it highter befor the truck will start to move. maby im wrong but whats it going to do for a daily driver that doest race?
How loud is it in the cab with lt headers? I assume these will not bolt up to the stock y pipe. so I would need a cat or 2 cats and go true duals.

stall increases RPMS at which it will launch yes. Read up on stalls guys run 2600-3000 daily and it drives like stock but its quicker when you get on it cause your in the powerband earlier. Stock stall is 1600 based on yank's website. LTS headers depending on brand will bolt to your stock catback without any welding or cutting (ARH for sure, cant speak for other brands). You just have to specify which stock Y pipe you have (# of cats) and then they will get you the correct Y pipe for the LTs. Look on youtube there is videos of a truck with stock catback and some ARH or kooks headers. Wont make it really louder but it will be some especially at cold startup which is when you really when you notice it.
