WTF is up with this tailgate!!? :(

Was going to try to see how this spoiler was fitted to my tailgate, so I slowly lifted up on it to find this
I think Im coming to the conclusion that my truck may have once been in a fender bender or something
Also there is a spot(s) on the left site of the tailgate that look like bondo type stuff, idk Im not a body man. But I can definitely see a couple big blemishes. I snapped a couple of pics, but Idk if you'll be able to spot it:

::::EDIT:::::::
Tried to point arrows around where the 2 blemishes are. Idk if it helped or not

Seems to be a paint blemish for sure. I know back a few years GM did have a issue with this on alot of its white vehicles. As for the stuff under the spoiler, it could just be glue, if you are talking about the holes, all the gates have them that has the spoilers

As far as the paint blemish, I guess Ill get some quotes this week, cause that is an eye sore for sure

Did you buy the truck new? The white trucks are known to be the ones that had the most bodywork and were not the straightest from the factory. It could have also been damaged after delivery and the dealer fixed it at well. Of course if it was used, there is always a possibility that the tailgate was damaged by the previous owner.

White trucks also have the CRAPPIEST paint jobs from the factory.
Im seriously starting to believe its a single stage paint job. I have chips on my tailgate...like I was doing 120 for 50 miles....in reverse.
