I like to watch my D.I.C. gas mileage for the hell of it, but I never trust it. It's consistantly off when doing the math manually after filling up.

BTW: I noticed no increase in gas mileage after the drop. Usually get upper 18's - low 19's combined during the warmer months.

yea i do that also just watch it all though its probably not right like u say.. but um the tires are factory ones that the wheels come with 285/45/22 which are exactly the same height as the stock 20 tires i had on before which were the 275/55/20 or sumthing like that.. but i guess i never really took a long road trip to find out exactly the gas consumption at freeway cruising speeds. but like i said i dont thinks its exactly correct on th D.I.C. but the highest mpg that i saw on the dash reader was after i lowered it..or maybe i was goin with the wind lol who knows! ill check on it later

this is my truck with 3/5.5. The drop that i have is mcg 2" drop spindles belltech adjustable strut set at 1". In the back I have mcg lowering leafs with drop shakles and belltech performance street shocks. So far no problems and the ride is super smooth. [IMG][/IMG]

after headers, intake, gears, spacer, and a tune from a shop in south texas you get better mpg at cruising speeds. When I playing around it drops to 12-13 mpg. lol

Here's a 1/4 drop. Mcgaughys coil relocators set at 1" up front, shackles, removed block, & spring clamps in rear.

Nice... that's what I wanna do...

1/3 drop though... relocators and pull my block. I already have shackles. Those clamps can't ride good and can't be good for the leaf springs
