Default will an ls2 gto intake make a difference?

im planning on getting a ls2 intake i saw online its out of a gto...will i get any power gains? or is it the same as mine? i have an 08 5.3 sierra with 243 heads

Will help up top, most likely. If you could find dyno graphs of both a TBSS and GTO you'd probably see where the car style intake makes more power.

Just swapping intake for intake I don't think you'll pick up that much, but it's one of those things that if you're going to cam/port heads/LT, you'll see more of a return.

You will probably lose torque down low and city driving and fuel economy will suffer.I would do the TBSS intake before that one,but that is just me.

dont do a TBSS intake, its the same intake you have on your truck now!

why not?
dyno proven that ported ls2 intake makes significant top end VS. tbss/nnbs intake . . .

with minimum or no loss at low end..

Once mine is fully ported and towers knocked off-

I'll post the differences over the TBSS intake..

i didnt say dont buy an LS2 car intake, i said dont buy a TBSS intake which is the "LS2 Truck intake" its the same exact intake as the gmt900 intake.

will a 3200 stall make up for loss of low end power?
