Who here has a cammed 6.2?

Hard to find feedback on this, I've searched with little luck.

I know there aren't many options for the VVT cams but I was looking at the CC 214/228 .559/.571 or 218/232 .563.575. Also see that Mast has a 220/234 .570/.588.

I want to get into the 400-420rwhp range without giving up power under 3k RPMs, so maybe the smaller cam would be ideal. This is of course with headers/exhaust and a tune and would even get an intake if FAST ever comes out with a truck intake for the square port heads.

I want to see some times/dyno numbers for cammed L9H/L92s with other bolt ons.

I have this cam in my 6.2. Its honestly I little lopey for my tastes. I was hoping it would be quiet. I can say I experienced no loss of low end. Probably won't ever dyno or take it to the strip.

If I was gonna do it the right way, talk to Texas Speed. Mast and Comp are a waste of time because Texas Speed is actually developing this tech and including the phaser curve. That is worth its weight in gold.

To summarize, call Texas Speed. Their website completely sucks.... You won't find jack on it.

That is good to hear, though I thought CC and MAST were using the phaser still. If the TSP stuff is a few months off still that is cool by me. My headers aren't even here yet and I have no problem just retuning down the line.

Wow, great info there. TOo bad they are so damn far away I would love to have them do the install and dyno before/after and tune.

They all use the phaser, BUT only Texas Speed provides the curves for it.... :bang: Meaning the other 2 are worthless....

All their stuff is ready to go now as you can see from the above post, their website just sucks.
