Alot more than with a 60E. The 6L80E is strong like the 4L80E I don't know if there is a cut off level but some people have alot of power going threw them! Ultimately depends upon your tuner and how much you abuse it.

Well im about 90% sure you have a 4L60E in your truck, if your unsure just count the gears when it shifts lol.

4L60E start giving people issues with just full bolt on's, you can help this out by geting a better servo as well as geting the transmissions shift firmness adjusted.

The 6L60E is a whole nother deal, pretty strong transmission, not 4L80E strong, but pretty close, I know skipperdaddy is pushing 520+ RWHP and he hasn't had any problems (Although im sure he doesn't beat the **** out of it wherever he goes).

He ment 6l80. the next step down from the 6l80 is the 6l50 so there is no such thing as a 6l60. Im sure he just fat fingered it.

Gotcha!

GWEE just FYI

not sure if you know this or not so i'll throw it out there just in case.

i'll use the 4L60E and 6L80E as examples

4 - Denote # of forward gears
L - Longitudinally mounted
60 - Denotes strength, higher number the better, measured in Newton Meter(Metric) IIRC
E - Electronic

6 - Denote # of forward gears
L - Longitudinally mounted
80 - Denotes strength, higher number the better, measured in Newton Meter(Metric) IIRC
E - Electronic

Skipperdaddy made 522rwhp so far, and prob has about 15K miles on his set up so far with no issues to date. Him and I both just got our trannys flushed last week, and it came out as red as it did when it was put in from what we could tell. We both run our trucks when the moment presents itself, but neither of us could be told we are beating on it by any means.
