Mine gets half way through second and thats when the traction control light will flash on the dash and stop them from spinning anymore.


Did a great one last night after getting the new rims and tires on. Of course I didn't even think to video it till half way through.

holy **** I knew I should of said screw the better looks and less weight of the regular cab and stepped up for the extended with the 6.2

And to answer the previous question mine does have the 3.42's

Yeah, these things can really haul the mail. I've given an 08 Mustang GT a hell of a run to 70 before (lost by a fender after roasting the tires off the line). You should swap one in I was actually thinking the other day about how much I'd like an RCSB 6.2 4x4 on 33s with 4.10s; it would perfect for hitting the dunes out here where I am limited by the long wheelbase of my tuned CCSB/6.2/4x4/3.73/33-inch combo.

someday she'll get a 6.2 once one hits a local junkyard! or a good buy on here, for now Ill have to make due with the kb intercooled turbo kit in my closet thats inpatiently waiting to go on

Only on 3/4-ton plus trucks. Lowest you can get in a half-ton is the 3.73, and that's only if you get a 6.2 with the NHT Max Trailering Package.

I believe you can also get 3.73s with the 4.8/4L60E, but at that point you're money behind vs getting a real engine and swapping gears
