Default stock fuel quick connect fitting size

im wanting to add an external regulator to my fuel system to do away with the factory internal tank regulator, as Im seeing my injector duty cycle go up to 100% with l96 flex fuel injectors and a walbro 450 at only 5000 rpm. (im assuming theres something wrong with the regulator or pump to regulator leak) the truck is just a l96 with cam and headers so i shouldn't be any where close to maxing the pump or injectors out.
so instead of running all new lines, i would like to use the stock feed line and use the evap hose for a return, any one know the quick connect fitting sizes? or other possible solutions?

also note, the truck does not have a fpcm, its an 08 factory flex fuel truck so im not sure why, but it doesn't

Its a possibility. But I would prefer a good external adjustable/boost reference regulator for if I ever decide to go back boosted.
Wonder if the 3/8 fitting on the vette regulator is the same as the stock feed/rail fitting.

GM uses a standard 3/8 quick disconnect on the fuel and evap hoses for your application.

There is nothing wrong with your current regulator, it is just not referenced to manifold pressure so it does not raise fuel pressure with boost (or drop it with vacuum). This essentially makes your injectors smaller with boost.

Going to a referenced regulator is a good idea, but I just wanted to point out your current one is working just fine.
