redlines and falls flat

So I lowered my truck recently and added the Volant air system with the air scoop. Now when I floor it the truck goes to 6000rpms and of course falls flat! I didn't make any other changes and before this it has always ran excellent. I think i'm missing something simple???I know lowering it wont affect performance but why would the Volant?

its a NNBS 2007 w/5.3L

Well, easy thing first, did you hook the MAF back up?

Needs the MAF recalibrated.

how do I do that? Sorry man kinda new thanks for the help

Is that due to the increase in air from the Volant??

It's due to changing how the air flows through the MAF. It will need a basic tune.

thanks! who do you recommend?? I'm assuming I'll notice even more gains from a good tune even above fixing the MAF problem?

Thanks again

Are you 100% positive you didn't put the maf in backwards

nope, I didn't know that was possible I'll have to check thanks

MAF is correct, the arrow is pointing towards the TB.

I just have a hard time thinking that adding a Volant system makes me need a tune. But if that's the case I'll do that
