Radiator Trans Cooler Line Fittings

I’m in the process of converting the factory lines over to stainless braided with AN fittings and have the correct fitting for the 4l8E and the tru-cool however the 5/8x 18 I’ve found referenced in other threads will not thread into the radiator. What have you guys found to work?

It should be a -6 straight thread but there is a catch. The factory fittings have that cone shaped washer, which pulls the trans cooler to the radiator end tank can creates a seal. If you do not use a fitting that does not have the cone shape washer the cooler will " push" into the end tank and engine coolant will pour onto the floor. Dont ask how I know.

on the radiator i used fittings from pure choice motorsports that clipped right into the stock factory fitting.
worked perfect.

No doubt. I was thoroughly confused for as second when it sprayed on the intake and down the radiator. Did you find a proper fitting to replace the factory cone shaped washer e clipped haydapter deal?

Really don't like the e clips but if its the only option guess it'll work. Looked on the site and didn't see em. Do you know the part number?

I have not. I did the old Tube nut and sleeve on the hard line. Not a fan of it. I heard Jiffy Tite was the oem supplier of the fittings but I havent found one with the washer.
