Default Rack and Pinion, Bushings, and the Z60 package

Ok, my truck has 165000 miles on the rack. But it's working fine other than the bushings are shot. It's not gonna hold a decent alignment with the excess slop.

I found this kit on eBay:

Fits Chevrolet Silverado Tahoe Steering Rack Bushing Set Polyurethane 19330568 | eBay

Apparently this is for GM part number 19330568, which is for the Z60 package.

Further research states that my truck should have 19330567. My truck doesn't have the Z60 RPO code.

From what I have seen, the rack for the Z60 (19330568) is 3 revolutions lock to lock, and the non Z60 (19330567) is 3.25 turns lock to lock.

My first question is does anyone know if the eBay item will fit either rack?

My other question is will the Z60 rack work with my pickup?

I'm not interested in replacing the rack at this time and would like to get a bit more use out of the one I have, so I wanted to install the kit for the time being. Once I do replace it I want to upgrade to the quicker steering.

Thanks for any help.

(I cross posted this from my thread on another forum, I hope that's okay).

Still needing info on the different part numbers though.

Been a couple weeks, did you install by chance? Wanted to do this on my Avalanche at 180k but ended up selling it.

No, I haven't installed it yet. Have been moving. Hopefully I'll get to it this weekend

It looks like it will work with my rack, even though mine is not listed in the part numbers on the eBay ad
