Default Parts list to swap Non-VVT engine to VVT

Toying with the idea to swap my currently non-VVT and non-DOD all forged LS2 6.4 block with LS3 Heads into my 2010 truck that has 5.3 VVT & DOD. I would keep the VVT but delete the DOD. Does somebody already have a parts list or can point me to one that the non-VVT engine would need?

You'd need the vvt cam. Vvt cam phaser and if its an after market cam you need to install the cam.phaser limiter and a vvt front cover. Since the trucks already got a vvt engine in it it'll plug right in once you install the new engine and parts. Tune and go!

You should remove the AFM lifters as well. You have to yank the heads and replace the head bolts but you can reuse the head gaskets. Copper spray between the layers works great

How strong are those cam phasers etc? I would think when you start to play with a decent size cam, stiffer springs, etc it becomes much harder for it to control the cam timing as the strain on the timing chain increases.

If you're going through all the effort to build this engine it sounds like you have serious power in mind... my first thought would be to avoid the VVT and just shoot for the moon. I would think if youre staying NA a converter would flash past the point where VVT helps you, and at that point the VVT cam will probably be a bit of a sacrifice up top compared to what you could have been running.
