If swapping an engine I'd buy a car 6.2 engine, stock truck vs stock car 6.2 car engine, car engine wins. Might as well start with an engine with more power stock.

Correct me if im wrong the 4.8 nnbs doesnt have the dod so it would be easier aside from changing over all acc including intake manifold to swap it to an LS3 instead of the L92 which is the 6.2 that comes in trucks???

There's a member on here I can't think of the name but they have a 11 or 12 Rc/sb with a 5.3/6spd that is pretty quick off the lot I'm sure somebody will know who they are.

6.2 and the D1 is a fun combo, only imagine is a RCSB

doesnt the truck have better bottom end to haul the 5000lbs better? Id like to see a dyno sheet of stock car and truck engines.

No, same crank as the car. Car and truck 6.2 use different cam, there are other differences also.
