i waited 1500 even before going over 65. they say the first 1000 miles or so its still fresh. if you take it easy in the beginning it will last longer in the long run.

Truck looks good!
I owned my truck for two days and had just under 120 miles on it before I went to the track. The way I look at it is if a brand new stock truck can't handle a 1/4 miles pass then I don't need to own it.

My break in period consisted of driving 500 miles at constant speed to pick up a 8000 lbs boat and tow it back 500 miles. My truck runs like a dream but honestly I wouldn't recommend it. Nice truck by the way, need to color match the bumper, tint the windows and give her a nicer set of shoes.
