Lamborghini even does dyno tests on their cars proving their power is on par. I would not call that easy breaking in.

just dont drive at a constant load or rpm. Molly rings like to seat when they are hot. When you beat the **** out of them, they get hot.

The recommened break-in period is conservative, I would think it is very hard to do any major damage on a stock motor, even brand new. You just may want to wait a while before bolting bolting that turbo on....

I don't know if I would put Lamborghini in the same class as my LM7.

same class as Lamborghini?? not really.. but the GM assembly plants do the same with their vehicles

Every vehicle maker does this at the end of assembly to start the break in process
