RickLowpez 02-07-2008 08:38 PM

what motor?

2500ss 02-07-2008 09:12 PM

it s 6.0 BUT I RAN TONIGHT AND SPRAYED A 150 SHOT AND ARIGHT AT THE 1/8MY NITROUS BACKFIRED, BLOEWD THE INTAKE TUBE AN MAF OFF AND DESCREENED THE MAF FOR ME PLUS GAVE ME A HELL OF A DENT IMN MY HOOD .................................................. ..ANYONE KNOW WHY IT WOULD DO THIS ......................OH YEAH WHEN I GOT HOME I PULLED MY #1 PLUG AND ITS FRIED

heh..........maybe you should try boost instead? we have the same motor...

you're running a window switch right? and killing the juice between gears? 150 shot without retarding the timing could be bad stuff, these new motors have lots more going on than previous trucks with variable cam timing etc. Gave us headaches when we first threw my blower in and we couldn't get all the timing out traditional ways...like the tables were negative, 93 octane with octane booster and still knocking at first...

no im keeping the nitrous im just putting it on my ss camaro i bought

MNC5 02-08-2008 11:04 AM

I'd say timing was the culprit...:engarde:
