MP 3023 and a 4l80e
Does anyone know if someone has made an input shaft yet for this tcase? Everywhere I read people haven't figured it out yet. I have an 07 scsb 5.3 4X4, doing a turbo so I need a 4l80e. I have a 4l80e out of an 05 ready to install help me out

I'm doing some digging for you Dillon. Looks like GM uses the MP3023 behind the 2ML70 (M99) hybrid transmission, and that version of the MP3023 uses a 32 spline input shaft. I'm trying to verify if the planetary is the same between both versions....
Here's a couple of links if you're interested.

There are two part numbers for a MP3023 32 spline input gear, first design or second design. GM has a bulletin that explains in detail how to identify your transfer case. I copied the bulletin to my photobucket, I'll link it here in your thread. Both parts carry the same list price, $179.84
First design is P/N 19132978
Second design is P/N 19299088
Here's the bulletin:

Thanks alot for the info, at first glance I thought I knew exactly what you were talking about but just reread it and realized I think I might be wrong. So are you saying I need the input spine gear out of a hybrid and input shaft too or no and also doesnt this also mean I could use an input shaft that is 32 spine to 27? Kinda like 32 to 29 for the awd tcase

I will have to check but is it safe to assume that my 07 NNBS ECSB 4x4 also has the Magna Transfer Case? If so I'm glad I read this I was going to order the Tcase input shaft from one of the write ups I read which I am sure is from a <NNBS series truck.
That is good info on determining which version I have and then I will order that input shaft.
**Edit**
Just re-read that bulletin and doesn't it say that the first design was used up until Dec 2011/Jan 2012 so anything before that especially a 2007 would be first design?

One thing worth noting I read in another thread someone did a 4L60E to 6L80E swap in a NNBS and they used the Tcase Input shaft from the 6L80E transfer case so that might be an option for us as well.
**Edit**
Here's the recent thread: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...s-swap-518742/
Hammer links to his swap thread with the part# for the input shaft which is 19132978 which coincidentally matches the part number in this thread provided by Roger for the First Design in the hybrid Tcase.
So, I would hopefully conclude that on my 07 NNBS I need 19132978 and I'm good to go.

I wanted to update this thread to say that this morning I dropped by the trans shop doing my swap and they had successfully installed Part#19132978 in my stock Transfer Case.
