Default MOBIL M1-212 started leaking

Anyone else have this problem on their 6.2?

I use that filter on my 6.2 and never had an issue...prob is loose would be my guess...

I tightened it but it became lose again. I just went back to the acdelco filter

I stick with my 5-7 dollar wix filters. Rarely see problems with the gaskets on those.

WIX Filters are the best bang for $ in my opinion. Never had a problem with 'em.

agreed- I was in a pinch last week and bought a AC Delco though

Had the same problem with the Mobil 1 oil filter (twice) switch to acdelco . No probem after

I use only AC Delco. I tighten to: contact + 1 turn (with a film of new oil on the gasket). I've seen them loosen at the recommended + 3/4.

What's the part number for wix for 6.2? I'll try it next oil change.
