So she gets in, starts it up and it's running fine, but now has a check engine light. This wasn't on previously. They say they can't clear the light until they replace the fuel float. WTF, it wasn't on when it came in, why is it on now? They can't answer that question. Now to make things even a little more weird, the low level light isn't on even though the gause shows below "E". It was on when we brought it into the dealer.
Sheesh...

Let us know what the dealer says. I hope it's not "normal" as they like to say.
I dunno...I have heard a couple guys on GMFS say theres are doing that too.

Who knows this could all be related to AFM, flexfuel, TM etc. Im not too worried about it, but I will let them check it out before charlies tune.

Could be. My 6.2 doesn't have AFM or flex fuel.

btw....what happened to the pics of your old truck?
Im thinking about running the joe gibbs wheels on this truck like you had. I searched and found the old threads but the pics were just red x. If you find a couple, email them to me at johnfbakerjr@yahoo.com or PM me some please.

I emailed you the link to my photobucket with the pics. Not sure why they would all be red X's though I haven't changed the links or moved them????

I have definitely grown to love it, just wish I could've afforded an LT2 model at the time but I was impatient and jumped the gun and bought it on impulse.

Only problem is with the 60e, upon slowing down it downshifts back into 1st roughly. Or sometimes when I do more of a sudden stop and then let go of the brakes it abruptly grabs first and the whole driveline clunks as if it was under load and then just released it. Any ideas?
I have the same setup as you, Reg. Cab.

Close to 4K on the clock and Im loving it. TM does suck though!

Hopefully I can get a Wheatley tune when his cores become available.

I thought Wheatley was here in Houston, he will tune it in person for you.

I turned off TM the other day, made a huge difference. Noticing about 1.5mpg better in the city because I don't need to push the pedal as hard.
