it seems i should drop mine in i doubt ill ever do it simply because i may just buy a converter to help mine leave

I believe you have to drop the front diff if you want to drop the oil pan to swap timing chains (at least you do on mine)

Niff, this cam is about a grand cheaper to do than the converter you want

Go back an look at the power curve, it makes nearly a 100 rwhp more after the stock cam falls off after 5200 rpm.

Does it feel like 100hp gain past 5200 rpm? Did the tuning require a lot of time and or changes?

Yep, night and day. In the other thread I commented on how it might bite me for saying it but I said it felt damn good. The truck pulls all the way till it shifts now, before it made alot of noise and wouldn't run. Especially on the HWY. It's a beast on the big end.

Good reporting,now there will be a run on LS9 cams,the way I read the past post about getting bit on the ***, I took that to mean your seat of the pants improvement of just the muffler you were afraid to overstate.

I dont have a stock cam so the converter would benefit me more
