Ya I noticed that the harness wasn't very long when I disconnected it yesterday. So when you said you flipped yours, I thought that meant the actuator was on the right.

if you put it the way its suppose to be the actuator would be on the drivers side, i flipped mine and put it on the passenger side bc that's the only way it could go.

 

Ah ok, I was always under the impression the actuator was on the passenger side as standard, like on the Camaro LS3 below, so when you said you flipped yours I had this idea in my head you had the actuator pointing to the driver side. All makes sense now!

 

hmmmm then the LS3/7 is the "right way" bc i have the LS2 and it's meant to be on the drivers side I THINK. but hmm...id love to have that engine cover that's cool...but i love having the stock 5.3 cover so it just looks like a lil 5.3

i would love to swap to a p&p LS3 intake...but that'll never happen lol

 

Hell, lift the hood and pass it off as a 4.8 with headers!

 

As you can see by the pictures there is no way the actuator will clear the alternator.

 

you're right it cant, BUT if you have the LS2 tb its meant to be on the drivers side vs the passenger side. what im seeing is the LS3/7 tb is meant to be on the passenger side like your picture is showing. so TECH you mount it the normal way without having to flip it.

I have 65K miles on this truck. I keep it clean.

I have the ls3 TB, my actuator is supposed to be on the left... niff ur TB came off a ls2 like in the gto, if u look up pics of gto engines ull see the actuator on the right....
