Well I picked up a 12570790 today and it is not going to work. If the actuator side of the T/B is to the left it will not clear the alternator. If I rotate it 180 degrees it will open from top to bottom. I will be getting the 12605109 tomorrow.

Decided to try anyway. Installed tonight and drove 30 miles home from the shop. It works perfect without a glitch. I can say I do have a smoother more positive acceleration. It should also be noted I am running a Vararam VR2 LS2 T/B spacer. It brings the T/B out about 2 inches from the manifold. My previous T/B was the stock 87mm that was ported. My last Blackbear tune was with the ported T/B and spacer. I think the tune made it easier to adapt to the new 90mm LS7 T/B.

Hmm, never thought of it running into clearance issues with the alternator...Markislive78, is yours flipped too or does it clear the alternator?

Even with the spacer you ran into clearance issues with the alternator? How did you end up mounting it? actuator to the left or right?

if you're using the car tb you have to mount the actuator on the passenger side anyways bc that's the side where the plug is and you cant put it the other way and make it work bc the harness isnt on that side.

Ya I noticed that the harness wasn't very long when I disconnected it yesterday. So when you said you flipped yours, I thought that meant the actuator was on the right.
