http://lpparts.com/store/page7.html

They are cheap, and does that mean they are cheap on there quality?

Or should I get JBA's when I get around to headers this fall?

I live in Cali so shortys are the only way I have. I don't want to get cought going to the junk-yard where the smog police in my area do hang out.

What about a set of Dynatech Long tubes??? I've thought about this too... I live in Cali. They come complete with Y-Pipe (including OBD II cats), O2 sensor extensions and all you would have to do to keep it cali legal is take a skill saw to the third cat and weld it to your tubing going into the muffler.

Cali Smog is retarded, and just for reference, I passed cali smog test with a 98 Ram (cammed with long tubes) and all I needed to make it happen was an OBD II cat (single).

They're a little pricy, but if you have family in a different state, have them shipped to that address, have your family forward them to you.

Check out the link... just food for thought.

Is anybody running these, or heard anything about them???

I have 3 cats. Two pre-cats, one actual cat, and according to the rules they have to stay in there factory position. So if I do the long tubes with cats I would in effect move atleast 12 inches which could get me into trouble. Plus I have called around and have not gotten a diffenitive answer as to will these actually work.

So I will just get shorties to stay legal.

Are LPP headers any good as far as quality?

seerysj 07-21-2009 11:15 PM

They should be just fine as long as they're coated. If not send them to jet hot as soon as you get them. I've had several sets of headers coated by them... hands down the best.
