just got my HID's in the mail (Help)
 
hey guys i just got my HID's in the mail. iv installed HIDs before so i no how to wire it up and everything. I'm just worried about getting to the back of the headlight. i keep reading that there a bitch and a half to get to. and i haven't found a (how to) to do it. das anyone have any advise or steps in witch to get them out. any help would be useful

What year and make of truck? All the late model GM trucks I've messed with are easy to get at...

I put them on mine without removing anything except the radiator support cover that spans the whole width of the truck and put my ballast under there! Just make sure to remove the plastic clear washer and install them like normal. Might have to contortion your hand a bit but it's fairly straight forward.

Don't forget to remove your DRL fuses.

ok the radiator support cover ill try and locate that.(is that the plastic peace with the clips right when u open the hood) thank you ya i pulled bot the DRL1 DRL2 fuses already (the easy part) lol

When I put mine in I removed the radiator cover, grill and both headlights. Made hiding the ballasts way cleaner.

^^ this. it's a tight fit but your hand can make it behind there. I think I undid the bolt for the washer fluid also if I remember right

When I get a new grill or finally venture into clearing my headlights or doing a retro fit mod I will re wire mine and hide them better I think.

Correct! Yeah i did unbolt the blank battery tray and washer tank on DS.

so if i wanted to take the grill and a bumper cover of i c how to take the grill of but where do i stat to take the bumper cover off

i also did my emblem painted it flat black
