What about The tried and true TR220 cam? I would think in a new 5.3 NNBS with a 3200 278mm Circle D, and 4.10's it would be a really nice running truck. That what's going to go in mine when I do it. I just put my 4.10's in, and with my stock cam and 3200 stall, it is still fun to drive. Although mine is a RCSB.

i dont think a custom grind is necessary. the tr220; 212/218 are great proven cams for the 5.3 and will work well with the 3200 circled youve been talking about. If you wanna go with something a bit bigger. I think that 224/230 will be really fun to drive, although you might want to go with a little more converter for that cam. maybe like a 3400 3600 ish.
