help with traction issues
 

hello i have a 08 crewcab truck 5.3 cammed headers and nitrous it has m/t 275-60-15 drag radials and caltracs 4.10 gears and i cant get it to hook for nothing any advice would be greatly appreciated.....i see people post videos of hooking pretty decent and they say stock suspension just with drag radials

what tires? what psi? how are caltracs setup might need suspension tweaks i have a 06 ecsb with caltracs hooks well

mickey thopson s/s drag radials ive had them at 25 down to 15 1psi at a time and it still doesnt hook, my caltracs are setup in the bottom of 3 holes parallel to the ground with just a slight amount of preload. unless i have the caltracs setup wrong what psi u running ur tires and any info on how to setup the caltracs would be greatly appreciated truck is lowered and im using the caltracs that go with the flip kit

well besides tire model we are 100% the same im running mickey thompsons pro bracket radial not dot approved 18psi and bottom 3rd hole with 4 flats of preload also when setting calracs best to have t setup exactly how you run at track . fuel level,driver weight tires etc

Maybe that's the problem since I didn't have anyone to sit in the truck when I was setting them up I'll try to set the caltracs up again hopefully that's the issue thanks for sharing
