Well, after lots of talking, lots of hopes and dreams...finally, I bought a Chevrolet truck.

a 2007 Tahoe Z71. I love it,..it's a thirsty, gas guzzling thirsty beotch but, I do love it. Plans to tow the vette around is the main reason of getting something like this. No major plans with it other then efficiency mods or mild stuff. LEDs almost all done,..HIDs should be here Monday(my factory ones I have won't work, wrong bulbs)...

I bought it from my old dealership, from the owner so, I got a crazy deal on it. Unfortunately, it had worn tires on the inside, and one drivers side bad motor mount. I knew it before I bought,..and it was still well worth it since I already have a motor mount. Just needed tires.

I was offered a pretty serious deal from the same dealership for a set of wheels they had in stock for YEARS....and they would give me a set of tires(cool peoples,....we are good friends) to go with them. The wheels are not my style but,..maybe someone will trade, or maybe I will just plastic dip them. We'll see how it works out. Anyways, here she is...

Current mod list:
Diablosport Trinity(picked up 1 mpg on 87 tune)
Smooth air intake/air filter(my own)
LED interiors, LED fog, corner markers....
debadged Z71 logo's
(I also have the black steel spares for the PPV look) but have no pics of.

plans:
add wheels/tires tomorrow(20's)
Debadge the rest of vehicle
ditch the AWD 3.73 gears-go to 3.08 for fuel economy
-go to a single turbo,..like a small, S366 borg,..
MAYBE 2-3/4 drop.
Phillips HID/LED fronts/rears/drl's/signals all on order.
Either remove body side moldings, or replace with escalade versions...same will be applied for roof racks.. either remove, or replace with escalade. I do like the escalade side mirrors as well. Not sure yet.

Nothing else planned really. Just wanna drive it, and make it as fuel efficient as possible.


Anyways,...super happy with this thing,...it is amazing.

Get those rims mounted, I like the look of them and want to see them installed.

Tomorrow, I will be up early,..i'll mount them myself so I know the balance is spot on. I balance these tires as if they're gonna go 200+mph lol. Will post pics ASAP.

...think I am gonna buy some plastic dip paint tonight, and paint the spoke area...leave the lip as is for now.

Think I will cancel my evening plans, huff some fumes...paint some sh1t.
