Looking into converting my NNBS Sierra rear drums to discs. Thinking about going the route of dual calipers from a 01-04 NBS suv. I ran across this part number from gmpartsdirect - 89026786. Does anyone know if that’s the correct backing/anchor plate that I need?

When doing this, there are two types and I can't remember if it makes a difference. The smooth caliper found on 2wd SUVs with a 1.125" thick rotor and the ribbed caliper found on the 4wd variants with a .875" thick rotor. Highly suggest going to a salvage yard and either grabbing the whole rear axle and returning it with your brake parts or pulling the backing plates, calipers, rotors, and parking brake cables and calling it a day. That will guarantee you get all the parts including the hardware which may not be easily purchased such as parking brake cable retainers and such.
