Default 2011 CCSB 5.3 Build

So the truck is currently under sonctruction and I haven't had a build since I sold my RST (because I'm stupid). With that said I'm just gonna throw my plans out there and see what suggestions anyone else may have or things that's worked for them. As of now, it's basically done stock with snowflake rep 22s and toyo proxes.

the list goes as follows:
■currently underway■
-custom grind cam 221/228 .609/.607
-dual Springs
-timing chain
-oil pump
-underdrive pully
-mcgaughys 4/6 drop (opinions on shocks?)
-American Racing headers and msd wires
-magnaflow bullet
-circle d 3400 converter

■to be determined■
-gears, thinking 3.73 with the 6l80e
-locker
-traction bars/caltracs, I have little knowledge here
-set of drag radials with race stars
-shocks for the lowering kit, as noted above
-any opinions/recommendations or prior experiences with anything I've mentioned or even not mentioned are encouraged.

all tuning and install work will be with the help of John Weeks and XXX performance in pensacola. It's gonna be costly but you gotta pay to play amiright? Lol really looking forward to see what the current plans bring and more in the future. Pics will come when I get home from overseas.

Thanks for reading fellas.

Quick snap of it after the wheels and tires were put on. 22 replicas. It is currently getting JDM shocks and the Mcgaughys 4/6 put on, along with some 5% tint all around and 45% on the windshield, and the converter from Circle D.

Will post more pics after the lowering kit is fully installed. Cam and everything else comes after that as well.

Also.. I have an HD grille on the way. Gonna look into color matching it and get some gloss handles off carID, get the bumper color matches and maybe mirror caps if I can find them.

This is post window tint (5% all around and 45% on windshield), 4/6 drop without c-notch and JDM shocks, and the Circle D!

I actually am not stateside at the moment so I'm waiting to hear how the Circle D does as well. It's a single disk 32-3400 also. I imagine it will be pretty loose, but I like to play so I don't mind it.

The cam/headers and other parts should be getting installed over the next few days. John is gonna be getting it from XXX motorsports tomorrow. Pretty excited to see how the whole build comes together.

Update on the converter driveability: John Weeks (tuner) says its pretty loose. lol Which is expected with a crew cab and all that weight and with stock gears. Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade those before long.
