Thats a great start man, when you get more bolts on thats the rite time to get a inperson tune, mail order or dyno.

We all start somewhere..

Justin (Blackbear Performance) is doing a tuning day at the end of the month in Fayetteville. $50 deposit and $200 due on the spot...smoking deal. I'll be there.

Handheld is better than nothing, but when you're ready get rid of that thing and get a custom tune you'll see an immediate difference. My BIL had maybe 5 trucks with handhelds and he always looked at me cross-eyed when I would talk about real tuning...now he's a believer and "forgets" he had the others LOL.

Scott may be an ******* but he is right, a couple hundred scores a BlackBear tune (the route I went) which is much more customized to your application. Sure a Diablo is better than nothing, but it costs more and does less than a custom tune. Congrats on the tune, I bet it feels much better, but most people here aren't fans of cut and paste tunes if you didn't notice yet.

yeah i did noticed but i am not sweating it, to each there own. mine is sold as soon as i am ready to do a real tune. we hooked it up to a challenger rt, hemi truck, and a yukon and all my buddies want to buy it when i get ready. but i am happy with it though, it now has a lil more grunt to get down the road and will work better with the cold air and exhaust that will be goin on in the next couple of months

I bought a Diablo sport trinity and love it. With a diablew custom tune and 6l80e support it rocks on my 6.2 ext. The reason I like it is because I make changes when ever I want and go back to stock for dealer trips. Also the trinity should support more than one car in the future so I can use it on my g8. Yes not as cheap as a custom tune but nice if it is what you want.

Nice! Alot of people dog on them due to the "handheld horror" half the people havent even tried an DS tuner! I used to have one with a Custom tune of Lews and it was awesome! The custom tunes are just like blackbear or any other mail/email tune. It written with tuning software similar to EFI live or hpt. The only reason i ditched it for a dyno tune was lack of TCM support which was recently released.

Plus with a handheld you can hold different tunes, adjust for gears, tire sizes, etc. Now if i need to have an adjustment i need to schedule an appt, wait in line, drive across town, etc...

They are good units compaired to other handhelds! Plus Lew can hook you up with some nice tunes! I was originally supposed to Beta the Intune before release, however I had too much going on to bother with it.

enjoy!

Lew is also good about doing things I can't do on my own. Like have a tune with tm on and another one with some off... I also like how he will tune for life.... He is a great guy.
