anyone decided to change up the way the driver side of the transmission mount is to run dual 3" into 3.5"? i dont really like the y pipe. im thinking of taking my truck to Madman and have him fab a new trans mount and a way to run 3" straight off the driver LT vs having to bend it 3 differenet ways

I like that idea! I hope you post pics if you decide to do that. You could have him make a jig and sell it in bulk through here!

i seen that idea on LS1tech a guy with a classic vette did it when he put in a 6L80e. it was sweet.

its nice but i dont really care for it. im thinking of either cutting the stock frame mounts off and redoing a more low profile setup or taking the stock one and notch it for a 3.5" pipe and fab a way to keep the structure there. who knows ill talk with Madman soon and see what he comes up with. i think Blown06 had a custom trans mount made by Madman that was pretty cool
