I know this is the HD, but I'm positive the 1500 is the same. Textured plastic lower valance:

Edit: Here's the 1500 front end for comparison, still looks like textured plastic.

FWIW - here's the front end on my Silver Birch '08 SD, clearly shows the lower valance being textured black plastic.

They are blasted and primed and turned out nice. I shot them using dupont etching primer. I'm going to paint everything tomorrow after work and try to get them back on. I still have to prep the grill and the new hood trim piece. I'm waiting on the billet grill to show up I hope it makes it tomorrow.

How do you post pics on here easily. I have always had holy hell trying and usually give up throw them in photobucket and then post the link here.

Well I learned from Lloyd yesterday that you can upload them right from your computer to your post, like you can upload 5 or so per post.

When you are making a post or a replying to one scroll down below the body part and you will see Manage Attachments.

Click on that and it takes you to where you Browse for them and then Upload them.

Check out the pictures below to see if they help ya.

Guys I'll try and get some pics up late tomorrow or sun I didn't get them painted yet but the lighting in the shop sucks for taking night pics of primed pieces and truck disassembled.

In progress pics. The parts are primed now. I am waiting on the billet grill to show up before I spray everything just to be sure I dont have to trim the grill shell any more. The grill showed up damaged I might get it sprayed this weekend if it shows tomorrow.
