Default Coil relocator in NNBS drop?

Ok guys ive been looking for a 2/5 drop for my truck for a while and i found this
mcgaughys chevy gmc 07-11 2/5 lowering kit drop cheep | eBay
I like how the back is but im not too sure about the coil relocator in the front, how it works, and how it will effect my ride if it does? Any opionions on the coil relocator?

it will simply relocate where the spring sits. the black circle thing is the spring perch.

Im running the McGaughys kit with Tim's coil relocators, rides pretty close to stock(just bottoms out a hair shorter now) but still rides great.

I would rather use the bell tech lowering struts. I have used both the MCG coil relocators with stock coils and the Bell techs (2" drop) with stock coils. Both with drop spindles. I feel the Bell Techs handle rough roads and bumps better because it seems they are a firmer strut than the stock one. And I believe this makes up for the loss of pre-load on the coil from moving the mounting point lower on the strut. Rides relatively well with the Bell Techs. The relocators were good, but as stated above, bottom out easier.

I've used the belltech struts and wasn't happy with them, besides they didn't drop the 2" I was banking on they rode rough and got rougher after some mileage. I just finished installing my 2nd set of coil relocators literally an hour ago...they're the best way to lower and keep a factory ride in my opinion. I'd much rather use the factory struts, nothing against the guys who like belltech but I'd be surprised if they're anything more than offshore struts that just adjust up and down. GM struts ride great and relocators can't wear out...my .02. BTW when I ditched my belltech struts they sat on here and gmfs.com for six months and I was selling them for 1/2 what I paid, nobody wanted them...

I'm using mcg spindles and relocators set to one inch to get mine down. She rides stone stock.

Either way works then. Interesting, my ride was noticeably softer with the coil relocators.
