center console ?????
 

i got a new o8 rcsb gmc. its got the split bench seat,i got a opportunity to get the center console . does anybody know if its a direct bolt on or do i need 2 modify 2 make it fit? pics would be appreciated thank u

I looked into this a bit previously and everything I could find in the manuals suggests it is a direct bolt in. The split bench is nothing more than two buckets with a console. In fact, in the reg cabs if you look at the backside of the console you can see where **on the ext and crewcabs** the cup holder would bolt onto the console aft side (GM simply removes it for reg cabs as there is no space).

Somebody on here has already done this mod. Looked pretty decent but I can't remember the thread..try searching a bit...
