i am running some 4300k hids and there great the color is white no blue at all and super bright . cheap 70 dollar kit . one year no problems yet

My eyes are fine, better than 20/20.

It's kinda like your truck is fast but you just want a lil more.
I'm going to be making a trip in June that is 23hrs and my old lady and i are driving straight through,so i figured the brighter lights might help. I am not sure how the lighting is headed to the east coast so i figured if the price is right why not?

I just hate coming up on oncoming traffic with low beams as bright as normal high beams; it sucks. Low beams shouldn't be so bright that they cost other people their ability to see where they are going.

that is why i aimed mine down after i installed my HIDs. you have to adjust them properly so they wont blind people.

ill agree with you. that issue bothers me too, i can spot a car like ten car behind me with HID that are glaring like high beams. they need to properly aim their light

I was always told that for the HID's to perform correctly you need to have the projector headlights so it concentrates (projects) the beam not just letting it go everywhere and blinding people.

look up H11 "HOD" on ebay. not hid.
its a new bulb type that some of the camaro guys are running.
Theres also a new "plasma led" they're running in the fog lights.
