11's have a third cat before the flex joint. It is unmonitored and yes it does pull harder at the top without and sound a lot better. So far I deleted the third cat/ welded the siphon tube in the resonator shut so it is essentially a straight pipe now and put in the large case magnaflow. I'm very happy the truck sounds great has no drone and sounds wicked at WOT.

I wish I would have looked harder under the truck before I did the exhaust; I would have gutted the third cat before messing around with anything else in the exhaust. Now I've only got a glasspack in the factory muff location; I think it would be a bit too loud if I gutted that cat.

Truck looks great, congrats! Makes me want to trade in my 2008 5.3 4L60 for the 6.2 6L80 while it's still worth something lol.

i don't know yet. if i do put one the exhaust size is 3.5" and i'm afraid it's going to be too loud. our trucks are totally different in pipe diameter and sound.

It shouldn't be too loud; I have almost no muffler at all and it isn't that loud. Just leave the resonator when you first throw it in, and start it up. If it's too quiet, delete the resonator.
