But seriously, it's no louder than my LT1 Z28 was with the cat deleted and a big Magnaflow SI/DO at the back. I like it, even though I'm pretty positive that my only gain was losing the weight of that HUGE factory muffler.

Nope, but that's what it is. There are 2 cats, a Y, a cat, a flex pipe, an enormous muffler, and a resonator over the axle. There's a guy on here who gutted that third cat (I didn't consider that option but I wish I had, LOL) and a few who have cut it out.

Can't see sigs on my phone unless I deal with the constant stream of pop-ups by using the PC version of the site.

I don't know why your exhaust would be different than mine from the factory. 2010 and 2011 both should have the same exhaust, with the band clamp instead of the bolting coupler after the last cat. You got yours new?

Maybe it's a 2011 thing but I swore I talked to guys with 2010s and the same exhaust setup. I don't remember.

yes bought brand new,if no sensor behind what you see,it seems it wouldnt be a catalytic
