hate to keep asking questions about the stupid film on the tails but i am trying to get some and the guy is not the best at answering my questions. how does the film stay on the lights ? the stuff i am looking at says there is no adhesive. also was it a pain to put on? also how thick is the film?

Thanks in advanced. if i can figure out what it is i might get it local since he is being such a pain.

The film is made out of vinyl.... You put it on pretty much exactly the same way you do tint on windows, except that it doesnt have glue on the back. It was a real pain to get it on there properly, it likes to stick to itself, which is why I had so much trouble. Also, it was pre-cut, so i had to stretch it quite a bit to get it to come close to edge of the lenses. Im sure you can get the film at you local auto parts store. Just ask for reusable window tint. Its a bitch to put it on, but once it's there it adds depth and character. Hope this helps.

also, i was thinking about using actual window tint, but if i ever wanted to take it off, i would have to deal with the damn glue.....

What i really want is a set of the sierra denali taillights....
if any of you guys know how much they run at the dealer, let me know.
Or better yet, ill trade one of you denali guys......

thanks sikdmax. Hey, do any of you guys know if I'll be able to squeeze 295/50/20 tires on the factory 20's? They are 8.5" wide i believe.

Actually, I meant if you can even safely mount the tires on the wheels. I am worried that the bulging of the tires may be a little excessive and would be dangerous

You will have no problems fitting 295/50-20 tires on a 8.5" wide wheel. According to Tire Rack, these General Grabber UHP tires will accept a wheel that is 8"-10.5" wide.

Truck looks awesome BTW!!

sick truck. whats the part number for those rims?

also - get rid of that tint. its going to turn purple and trashy. go spend the $120-$150 and get your tailights tinted with clearcloat and paint. trust me, it will look sick as ****.

thats exactly how i want my NNBS RCBS Black Sierra to look....glad you don't live by me!
