That's the y pipe. Did each header have a 3in collector? I've only seen reports and descriptions show a 2.5 in collector on the header itself.

I have a set of TSP headers on my truck with the 6 speed. I did have to persuade a corner on my cab a little to let the passenger side header get through..though if I tried harder I probably could have gotten it through. I had no problem with the y pipe around the 6 speed but I do remember it didn't quite reach my stock exhaust perfectly. Ended up having a small piece welded in to connect the two better

Default Se 1 7/8

I have a set of speed engineering 1 7/8 w/ ypipe I’m actually trying to sale I haven’t posted yet, I put about 10-12k miles on them then pulled them off to go turbo. No issues with leaks or fit I loved them. I’ll let them go for $250 if you pay the shipping. I’m located just outside of Lubbock Texas 806/632/0355 Trey if you’re interested I also have a handful of other parts some new and some used

Thanks for everyone's input. After all the feedback, along with my local shop's recommendation, I went with the Speed Engineering 1 7/8 headers. I have them shipped to get ceramic coated. They are for the wife's Escalade and she wanted pink coating (yes, pink) which I don't know will be feasible. My coater is looking to see if he can get a high temp that can be mixed, but she might just end up with one of the regular high temp cerakote colors. Thanks again!

Got the headers coated (silver cerakote) and installed. Installation was good, no clearance issues.

For the y pipe, is there supposed to be a flange to connect to the stock 3.5" exhaust or is that something I need to have fabbed up?

Their website says 3.5" y pipe, and had a picture of a flange, but the flange that I got is only 3".
