I say baby it a good while before getting too lead footed with it. Some people say run the **** out of while others like me say take it easy on it.My years of working on cars says take care of it. Why rag the **** of a 40K dollar vehicle you plan on owning a long time.

I have driven all my vehicles the same from day one, after the first 300 miles I change the oil and then drive it like I stole it. All of them were still going strong 100-150k miles when I got rid of them. but thats just me

I drive mine deep into the 300-400K mark before putting them to pasture. My 98 big block had 456,765.8 the night I totaled it by hitting a cow. It was still in perfect condition. On stock big block and overhauled the 4L80 at 295 just for preventative sake.
So yes if you get rid of it at 100-150 mark dont sweat it too much.
However I have a feeling this truck is assembled with legos and wont make the kind of miles my old one did. I'm seeing these trucks that are cared for coming in the shop and at 150-175 they are falling the **** apart. Guess time will tell.
