another cam thread...deciding...maybe

2013 sierra 5.3
basically stock. just a 6" lift/35's/4.10's/airaid MIT/mail order tune
Looking for a little more performance. Thinking future upgrades will be a cam kit/springs, and some LT's
Most likely the lt's will come first so I can build on that, not sure on which brand, the tsp's seem like a good value and fit is pretty goos from what I have read.
Cam = might be awhile for that. btr stage 1 or 2? I do want to keep the stock converter, for now. Can't afford everything at once.
I know everyone has an opinion on cam specs,
Just looking for suggestions of guys that are running the stage 1 or 2 with stock converters.
thanks.

Anything at or slightly under a 212/218 spec will do. A good 40-50hp bump with a good tune and exhaust.

Everybody has a stage this or that and I don't keep track, the specs should be pretty similar what I typed.

I run a truck cam 2 from BTR on the stock converter, 265/70/17 and 3.73 through another 4l60. wish I had a 2800-3000 stall in it but it’s ok for now

this truck has 6l80, don't know if that makes any difference?

Doesn't matter here, those sizes still work with the stock stall.
