You might want to get exhaust manifold studs or new bolts just in-case the mani bolts don't want to come out.

A tune.

It is required when doing the DOD/VVT delete.

Ok think i have the list of 99.99% of parts ill need to do this job. I just sprayed WD40 on the exhaust bolts and one by one unbolted then bolted back. So we good there when it's time to do the delete. I hope this list can help others that's looking in doing this themselves. So for without head work and tune im right around $1300.00 of so.

1) 16 ls7 lifters
2) MLS head gaskets
3) head bolts
4) L92 valley cover
5) crankshaft bolt
6) LS2 lifter trays
7) timing cover gasket
8) front crankshaft seal
9) water pump gasket
10) LS2 chain dampener
11) LS3 timing cover
12) 3-bolt camshaft gear
13) camshaft bolts
14) camshaft
15) trunnions kit
16) valve springs
17) cam retainer bolts
18) LS2 timing chain
19) pushrods
20) intake gaskets
21) exhaust gaskets
22) o-ring for oil pump
23) tune

Quick question: why the o-ring for the oil pump? Are you putting in a new oil pump or leaving in the stock one. If your leaving it in you shouldn't need to loosen it.

I'm going to have just incase i have to take to oil pump off. I don't want to be in the process of putting everything back together and run into a problem.
