Default AirAid tube/filter vs Vararam

I ordered the AirAid tube and drop in, but now I am considering the Vararam. Do you think there would be any performance difference between the two.

The only hesitation that I have on the Vararam is I have heard it is a pretty cheaply made product. I really do not care about the looks, I do not drive with my hood open, but I do not want to pay that kind of money for a something that wil not last or that I will have problems with.

Save your money and stick with what you have ordered. Gains from one to the other are definitely not worth the extra cost.

BS,

I thought about that, the only thing I am worried about is sucking more dust into the box. I drive hundreds of miles on dirt roads hunting and I can tell you the Volant that I had on my AV sucked in alot of dirt.

What are the opinions on this.

I did add the tube and filter and it is not nearly as obnoxious as the full Volant system. I am thinking about wrapping the tube with duct insulation to see it that quiets it down a little more.

It's up to you really, you have to weight your options.
If you don't mind cleaning/replacing ur filter every 10k miles, I'd say do it! Otherwise just leave the filter in stock box and drive it that way.
