Default ebc brakes

Im in the market for aftermarket brakes, and saw these slotted dimpled ebc brakes that I liked. I wanted to get some feedback on these before ordering, anyone running these on a o7+

to change from drum to disc you need a new backing plate, rotors, calipers, mounting hardware, and pads. that is all you need for older trucks at least. i converted my 95 c1500 to rear disc brakes and i just took the front setup from a truck like mine of the same year.

Things have changed....the new trucks have electronic distribution proportioning to improve the perfomance and help keep vehicle under control with hard braking, so not sure if a guy put discs on exactly what would happen and not sure if that module can be programmed (and if it could would be tech II so $$$ if you could find a dealer willing to do it).

I'm sure there is a way to do it, and no doubt it will happen but not as easy as just swapping hard parts. That said the HD trucks do have disc brake rears so perhaps a guy could use those parts and module?

Rear drums seem fine to me.. Not very prett to look at through large wheels but they do seem to function fine.. I would be interested in doing the EBC rotors on the front though.. Im tired of warping mine.. Need some added cooling..

Let us know how they work..
