if its 87% then you have it give it 87% throttle before you get PE. Do you really want to have to almost go WOT to get PE, I hope not.

What I do is look at the logs and see where I do most of my driving, typically around 30% throttle, so then I make sure the enable TPS is above that. I also dont command PE until a higher MAP, unlike above where he basically controls everything through the TPS table.

I think you guys misunderstand me, I totally agree with lowering the number to go into PE, I'm just saying sometimes I look at the numbers and wonder exactly how the guy arrived at that particular number (no matter what table or chart I am looking at).

Your explanation makes perfect sense of course.

I said 87 was stock. I have no intentions of leaving it there

HPTuners is awesome, bit overwhelming though as a noob so sorry for the stupid questions. Learning though, its pretty neat.

Thanks!
I used the 2D chart to adjust that table must have thought I was @ 50 or close...

Ton's of great info on the HPTuners boards...

Guy's I've got the same **** going on with my truck,it's a 07 ext cab 5.3,my tuner who use to tune my corvettes said it's because I don't have the tpms sensors in the wheels.I bought the truck as a repo and all I no about it is that it has to have some kind of programmer and servo in it because it will nail second gear and run 9.70's in the 1/8,with no headers, cai,or nothing.I'm going to get my tuner to check the tune in it soon just to see if we can find out whats done to it.I hope someone kind find out what the deal is because mine does it at least a couple of times a day.THANKS!

mine does the same thing its really annoying I feel it more when i manually down shift to run and when i hit the gas it just seems like the TB lags or just cant keep up with my throttle input......and my truck is tuned ill talk to my buddy File who tuned my truck and see what he says about this.......one question tho would switching out to say a LS2 TB fix this ? The only reason I ask is because my buddys 6.0 GTO has no lag what so ever just thinking that maybe the gear ratio on our trucks TB is higher then on a LS2 car TB and the little motor that opens and closes the butterfly just isnt as quick. Idk if im making any sense but hopfully someone will get what im saying........
