6.2 exhaust?
#32
I took my truck to the exhaust shop Friday and had the stock 100lb muffler removed and had a piece of 3.5in pipe welded in its place. I did not remove the resonator or anything and it soulds awesome. There is hardly any drone on the interstate but its a little louder than my dads with the 4in Magnaflow and resonator removed. i really like the sound of it and plan on keeping it that way for now. I will post a video clip of it this weekend to let ya know what it sound like.
i would also like to hear what this sounds like.

I have a 2011 sierra 1500 CCSB max trailoring package 6.2. I has 4200 miles on it and last week I cut the muffler off of it and replaced it with just a 3.5 inch pipe and left everything else alone. Sounds good, not too loud and helped performance a little bit.

Not to beat a dead horse but has anyone actually put on a Corsa exhaust on a 2011' 6.2? I was going to order it but I looked under my truck and at there install instructions and it seems that the flange on the head pipe is different. They show a 2 bolt donut flange where my truck has a a round clamp. Pic below.

It will take a while for manufacturers to catch up to the change.
It should be easy enough to fit the corsa by cutting the pipes in the correct place.
I noticed the corsa kit is 3 inch, the 09/10 6.2 stuff is 3.5 inch
what size is your 2011 pipe.
